Hi all, I'm looking for a fic where Sam was cursed by a necklace to turn into a deer - I vividly remember a scene where he's calling Dean from a phonebooth. I think it was set pre-series and Sam had been missing for several months.

I read this fic years ago, so I'm not sure if it's not deleted. It was on AO3. The story involved corporal punishment that was borderline abusive because the shapeshifter was messing with families.
